Happy New Year to all..

Well the new year is almost upon us, approaching..... just a few hours remain... after which all of us will say a good bye to 2009 and enjoy the rejoicing 2010....

Year 2009 had been such a great year for me, I started this blog in April with a hope of getting some visitors, but unimaginably there was a lot more for me.. Today I reached a mighty million pageviews on this blog, which has been possible because of you all lovely visitors.. Wow a great gift to me in the new year,,

Thanks to all for visiting and even more thanks to those who dropped comments.... Kunga, was the most frequent in writing comments, while there were so many who dropped these small love letters:) and added to the charm of our blog... Keep them coming, I really love them..

Oh I forgot to mention, I have lot more plans to implement in here... Last year I added a cool media player on Diwali Day, hope you all enjoyed the boom... , so buddies stay tuned, definitely a lot of surprises awaiting you all in the year 2010..

It is said that Veer is Salman's Dream Project (as he almost doubled his weight for maintaining historical accuracy:), and so our expectations seems logical.. Veer songs are out and I can't wait to give them a listen.. The song 'Taali Mar' is in news as it's the costliest song, ever made in bollywood. BTW, the songs are tuned by Sajid-Wajid with lyrics from Gulzar.
Veer is an upcoming movie starring Salman Khan, Mithun Chakraborty, Lisa Lazarus, Jackie Shroff, Sohail Khan and Neena in pivotal roles. The story was written by Sallu Mia about 20 years ago and, now the dream has come true, it's being directed by the Anil Sharma (Director of Gadar). My expectations are very high, lets hope the Wanted (IPS officer) strikes again when released on 22 January 2010...

Wow! here are 3 Idiots songs. Almost everyone is waiting for the movie '3 Idiots', the one based on the Novel 'Five Points Someone' from Chetan Bhagat. Though I liked the novel, I would expect the so called 'perfectionist' Aamir Khan to really thrill with this one.. Lets hope it turns to be the best.Three Idiots is a forthcoming film directed by Rajkumar Hirani, starring Aamir Khan, R. Madhavan, Sharman Joshi, Kareena Kapoor, and Boman Irani in the mail roles. Kajol is making a special appearance in the movie. It is slated for a release on December 25, 2009 (Aamir's Khan Special Day, last year it was Ghajini). BTW, the music is from Shantanu Moitra.

Update (19 Jan 2010) : Hey folks, finally I could get time to watch the mindblowing 3 Idiots, I just loved it. Go and checkout, if you haven't. It's definitely worth watching. It's because it's Atif Aslam's next bollywood venture and having a superb track 'Tera Hone Laga Hoon', which I am listening right now. I love whatever he sings, or say I am his great fan..Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani is an upcoming romantic comedy film which stars Ranbir Kapoor, Katrina Kaif and Upen Patel in lead roles with Salman Khan making a special appearance. The promos are really interesting, feeling like this movie should also be a super hit when released on 6 November 2009. Starring Salman Khan and Ajay Devgan in main roles, the film 'London Dreams' also features Asin Thottumkal as the lead female character. Moreover Rannvijay Singh and Brinda Parekh play pivotal roles in the movie, which will release on October 30, 2009. Recently the promo that hit the screens had Asin for only a second, director tells that it's because the story mainly revolves around Sallu and Ajju:D

Initially A. R. Rahman was considered for composing the music for the film, but the idea didn't materialize; but that's no harm as later the trio Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy were finalized for the music direction. Prasoon Joshi has penned the lyrics. Hope you like the songs..

It is an action film that is centered around an underwater treasure guarded by sharks. Blue is about a treasure that is buried 250 feet deep at the bottom of an ocean and is guarded by about 40 sharks. The lead characters of the movie are in search of the treasure. Wow! that was a lot of names. It’s music is composed by Aryan, Shibani Kashyap, Bappa Lahiri, Mika Singh, Anand Raj Anand, Sandeep Chowta and Shamir Tandon with lyrics from Virag Mishra. (That too was a lot of composers:).Surprisingly it has only five songs from 7 composers. One would naturally expect them to come with astonishingly great tunes. Am going to check them out. HR fans it's is a treat for you. Reviewers say that Radio is Himesh's best compostion till date. It has many great songs like Janeman, Shaam Ho Chali Hai, Piya Jaise etc in it. While writing I just noticed that one thing has not changed , like always HR has sang almost all the songs himself:). But it's a great album, so they say that even if you hate Himesh, you may end up loving this. I wish this is true, haven't checked the songs out myself.

Radio is an upcoming movie starring the rock-star(??) Himesh Reshammiya and Shenaz Treasurywala in the lead roles. Himesh plays the role of a RJ (Radio Jockey) in the movie directed by Isshaan Trivedi. Expect the rockstar to rock the movie. BTW, had heard somewhere that HR had told that he would only sing if he was allowed to star in the movie, so these are his first songs of 2009. Hope you enjoys the songs.

What's Your Rashee? is an upcoming movie directed by Ashutosh Gowarikar. While the movie is based on Madhu Rye's novel Kimball Ravenswood and is slated for a release on September 25, 2009.

Yogesh Patel (Harman Baweja), a young man who has always wished for a love marriage, is told that he must find his dream girl within ten days to save his family from utter ruin. He makes a plan; he will meet one girl from each Raashee (sun sign), so that he will get twelve chances to fall in love. Two meetings per day gives him six days to meet them, three days to make a final decision and he can get married on the tenth day.

The music of the Whats your Rashi is composed by Sohail Sen and the lyrics is penned by Javed Akhtar. I only listened Jao Na and enjoyed it, hope you also like the others.

Wake Up Sid is a forthcoming romantic comedy movie, directed by debutante Ayaan Mukherjee, and scheduled to release on October 2, 2009. The movie is Mumbai-based romance about urban relationships and revolves around a good looking young guy (Ranbir Kapoor) who falls for an older and simple woman (Konkona Sen Sharma), a writer from Kolkata.

The film starts with the story of Sidharth Mehra (Ranbir Kapoor), a lazy, unmotivated slacker from Mumbai whose life undergoes a series of changes after taking his final year college exams. Sid's world is breezy, carefree, and without any true responsibilities. The most important elements in his life are his friends, his camera, his car, and his X-box 360. The plot looks cool! Lets hope this movie turns to be great.

Ladies and Gentlemen, I just don't have words to tell, how cool the latest Kaminey is. It's just inexpressible, you could have noticed that I never posted any movies in here, but Kaminey made me do it. I went to the multiplex wishing that what I hoped in the Kaminey Songs post, turns to be true. I just hoped it to be the greatest movie of 2009, but it turned out to be one of the best bollywood movies I ever saw.
Really I am thrilled, words are not coming easily, am physically writing this, but my mind is amongst so many characters and the brilliant Shahid Kapoor and the gorgeous Priyanka Chopra. It's just like flying in a wonderland. It's a new type of bollywood movie, having a tinge of Hollywood in it and I just loved it.

I would not give any spoilers in here. I would say, it might appear boring to some, some may not even understand the movie at the first go. You should pay absolute attention to each and every minute and enjoy the fantastic results. It's bold, stark, funny, unpredictable and a complete Roller Coaster Ride.

Even though I am giving the download links, I would highly recommend you to go to the theaters to watch it, as Kaminey really deserves it. We get very few movies this great, and I don't want you to spoil the whole show with prints that are available for download. Don't download Kaminey Movie, enjoy it at the big screen. But still it's up to you. Don't complain about the quality, as it's out of my control. There is nothing I can do about it, as DVD Rips will take atleast 2 months to be released. I would just add here the best print available on the net.

I hope you enjoy watching Kaminey, as much as I did. I am gonna be watching it again. It's mindblowing.. (Dhan Te Nan::)

Looked at the poster??, then you probably could have noticed who's in the left??. Really I could not even imagine at the first sight that she is Rani Mukerjee;p, indeed I was even searching on for her. Dil Bole Hadippa is a film directed by Anurag Singh, and it's starring Rani Mukerji and Shahid Kapoor in the lead roles along with Anupam Kher, Rakhi Sawant and gorgeous Sherlyn Chopra in the supporting roles.

It's a story about Veera Kaur (Rani) who's loves to play Cricket, but is denied as girls in that village are not allowed to play Cricket. So wearing a turban and a beard she becomes Veer Pratap Singh (reminds of Veer Zaara:) and gets an entry into Rohan’s (Shahid) team. I have set my expectations high from this movie, and hope that it keeps up to it when released on September 18.

Music of DBH is tuned by Pritam and it's Punjabi types. I liked the songs, especially the title track and 'Ishq Hi Rab Hai'. Hope that you enjoy listening them too.
